I wanted to add in a few cute pics I got on Tuesday. When I got to the barn I found Satin and Jewel laying down together in their paddock and it was just so cute! Lucky for me I had my camera with me.

- I am a recent college grad, pursuing my Masters degree, while trying to balance owning and showing my horse, school, work, and having some kind of social life. This is definitely not easy, but I am doing the best I can to make it work. I received my Bachelor's degree in journalism and media studies and my Master's will be in Communication. I am also a photographer and have a photography business called Shutter Savvy Images. I have been riding my entire life and could not picture my life without horses. I have a 22-year-old Quarter Horse mare named Satin Savvy who is everything I ever dreamed of. She may be 22 but she thinks she is about 4 and she is so versatile. I can do anything with her. She used to be a reiner in her youth and we have competed in western pleasure, horsemanship, trail, speed, and hunter paces. We both love nothing more then a good gallop down the trails and she truly is my partner.
